my dear friends, rachel & nate, were married this past saturday. they got engaged in december and planned their fabulous day in just 6 months. can't believe those 6 months came and went as fast as they did. but we celebrated our little brains out this past weekend. i was so completely amazed at how calm rachel was all day. nothing phased her and her peaceful demeanor was a breath of fresh air. she was just ready. no nerves. no freak outs. just ready to see her man and say i do. i told her i admired that, and she simply replied, "it's easy when you're marrying a man like nate." sigh. the two are a match made in heaven. fitting each other like puzzle pieces and looking like the quintessential pair of lovebirds. they brought along the best bridal party a girl could ask for. (perhaps i'm biased because almost all the bridesmaids are friends of mine). but it made things that much more enjoyable.
